Ten years ago the Lord put a desire on my heart to start a school which disciples future ministers and missionaries for God’s kingdom. When my children were learning classically at home, I knew what type of school was needed to disciple children to become world changers. Proverbs 22:6 states that we are to “train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.” With this mission, we opened our doors in the fall of 2011. It is my pleasure to lead and support Calvary Christian Academy through providing vision and upholding the standard of God’s infallible word!
I have been married to my wife, Brenda, for over twenty years. We have seven children together. When we are not working at church or school we enjoy time together as a family.
It is so much fun working and teaching at a Classical Christian School, especially with the Junior High students. I was in Jr. High when I made a commitment to fully surrender my life to Christ. Teaching Junior High is my absolute passion!
It am so excited to teach the 7th/8th grade girls' discipleship class, as the students are forming beliefs that they will hold throughout their entire life! Our curriculum at CCA is living and works mightily in the hearts of those who are blessed to go through it. It is an absolute joy to teach at such an amazing school. Not only do I enjoy the students and curriculum, but I also love working with the staff. At CCA, we have amazing, Christian men and women, who are committed to Christ and doing their best for His glory!
I have been happily married to Michael for over twenty years, and I am blessed to have seven children, who range in age from preschool to college. All of our children, who have attended CCA, have been so blessed and loved by their teachers. Their spiritual and academic growth is astounding! When I am not working at the school, I love spending time with my family, gardening, sewing, cooking, teaching Bible studies, and so much more!
Having joined Calvary Christian Academy in 2015, I have taught for over thirty years, preschool through twelfth grade. I embrace classical, Christian education for two primary reasons. First, it maintains the proper goal of education, which is not to merely train good technicians or accountants, but to cultivate virtue and purpose in the lives of students. Second, classical, Christian education is vastly superior to the modern approach to education because, through the Trivium, it utilizes the student’s natural developmental stages to produce a student equipped to both think and articulate great ideas. While CCA meets these two goals, the emphasis on discipleship to produce world changers for Jesus Christ excites me the most.
It is my deepest desire to partner with families, as we strive together to be legacy builders to the glory of God. I love teaching elementary school Math all the way up to Calculus, but my accomplishments also include teaching Bible, Engineering, Jr. & Sr. High School Science, Technology, and P.E. Additionally, my background includes teacher training in all curriculum areas, parent training as a minister and seminar speaker, and corporate training in various software applications (including 3D CAD/Internet Collaboration).
My wife, Crissi, and I have been married for twenty-six years. We have two, grown daughters and one grandson. I am most blessed among men with the amazing family God has provided me.
I was blessed to have joined CCA even before our doors opened back in 2010. Realizing the rich experience that classical education provides students, through beautiful literature and engaging academics in a rigorous environment that pushes them to reach their full potential, my husband and I knew that CCA is where we wanted our children to attend school—and where the Lord has called me, as well! What I treasure most about our school is the focus on discipleship. All of our staff disciple the students' hearts, pointing them to Christ in every situation.
My husband and I live in San Jose and have been married for twelve years. We have four beautiful children, three of which attend CCA.
I have worked at Calvary Christian Academy since 2012. One of my favorite things about teaching is watching a child’s face light up in wonder over a new concept or idea they have learned or grasped for the first time. There is something incredibly special about helping to foster a love and passion for learning in the heart of a child—especially their love for God. Working at CCA allows me to share my love and passion for learning and knowledge with my students, while discipling their hearts and minds in the ways of the Lord. Truly, each school day at CCA is thoroughly steeped with the truth of God’s Word, and it is a joy to see and experience firsthand!
When not in the classroom, I enjoy reading a good book, taking long walks, and playing the piano. I also enjoy many different kinds of arts and crafts—from sewing and crocheting to sketching and do-it-yourself projects. My family is also a special priority and part of my life.
I have been blessed to teach at CCA since 2016. Every year, I am honored to help students grow in their knowledge of and love for God, while learning about the world around them. Every subject and lesson is Christ-centered, focused on equipping, training, and discipling students. As an educator, it is my desire to encourage students to be life-long leaners, as they fall in love with God’s Word. I love watching children express their unique strengths and creativity in the classroom, as they develop and mature.
I am thrilled to be stepping into a new position this year, as I assist and support homeschool families. Homeschooling holds a special place in my heart, as I was homeschooled through high school. I am excited to begin this new journey at CCA.
When I am not in the classroom, my husband and I enjoy attending sporting events, taking brisk walks, and eating yummy food. We love this school, the staff, and the church, especially since we were married here in the summer of 2018. We also love watching movies, playing games, and adventuring out with our families and friends. In my spare time, you can find me reading books, playing the guitar, or trying my hand at art projects.
I am honored to finally be pursuing my passion to spread the Word of God through teaching in a private, Christian school. This is my first year teaching at Calvary Christian Academy, and I am so blessed to be starting this journey in the Kindergarten classroom. I always knew I loved children—even when I was attending elementary school, I was always one of the first to volunteer to work with the preschoolers or younger students. My love for helping and guiding others has driven my own personal life choices from my first job of childcare at my church to my pursuit of a Liberal Studies degree. At Biola University, I was able to truly see the importance of intertwining a passion for teaching with a love and devotion to God. I believe that students in the classroom deserve to see and experience the security and peace of God’s love while developing their education in the process.
Over the past couple of years, I have seen the fruits of my labor through my teaching experiences in a preschool classroom at a private school. Watching children grow as the teachers pour God’s love into them has only increased my passion for teaching. I am ready to take the next step in my teaching career and dive into the intricacies of the Kindergarten classroom. I cannot wait to start that journey with the students at CCA!
My husband and I will be celebrating our first anniversary on August 25th this year. We have only lived in San Jose since January if 2020. When I am not teaching, I love to spoil my dogs, enjoy nature, sing on the worship team, and enjoy a good book on a Sunday afternoon. When able, I love to visit my family in San Diego and spend a day out with my niece.
I began working at Calvary Christian Academy in 2017. It is such a joy to work alongside staff and families who put God first and constantly support and pray for each other in love and unity. I have always had a heart for children, and I love the school’s vision and passion for training up the next generation of children to live Christ-centered lives. In the years I’ve worked at CCA, the students have reminded me what it means to have childlike faith. This school is truly a special place, and I am so excited to see how God will continue to move in and through the community here!
In my free time, you can find me painting, hiking, drinking coffee, writing, singing, and leading worship.
I truly believe God has prepared and equipped me to be a teacher. I have had the wonderful privileged of teaching at Calvary Christian Academy since 2015. I chose to teach at CCA because it is Christ-centered to the core. I share the same passion and vision for education as our school: to train up, discipline, and educate children in the ways of the Lord. As an educator, it is my desire to provide a loving and nurturing environment for students as they learn and grow, not only in academics, but also in their personal relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ.
When I am not in the classroom, I can often be found completing a fun art project, decorating for an event, playing a board game, or watching an old classical movie or a cooking show. I also love spending time with my family and traveling the world. One unique thing about me is that I am a childhood cancer survivor. God graciously spared me from cancer and has allowed me to be a living testimony of His great faithfulness and sovereignty.
Roberta Cordova has been passionate about teaching young children since she was a little girl herself. Throughout her career and seventeen years teaching Kindergarten in Japan, she has been dedicated to educating and helping students bloom and succeed. A versatile educator, Mrs. Cordova has taken the opportunity to instruct a wide variety of students from various backgrounds, ages, and all facets of society. Her teaching career has been geared toward educating, loving, and empowering Kindergarten/Elementary children.
Mrs. Cordova has a strong passion to educate young minds and help them blossom into well-rounded, responsible, successful, and God-fearing individuals. As a result, she is a compassionate teacher, who remains sensitive to children’s unique and broader educational needs by employing creative listening while offering positive encouragement and prayer.
As a Christian educator, she believes it is a blessing from God to be able to encourage and help every student live a Christ-centered life and grow in their love for God, His Word, and His awesome world. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a little light bulb go off in a child’s mind because they “GOT IT!”
Mrs. Cordova says that she is thankful to her Abba Father for bringing her to Calvary Christian Academy! CCA is a Spirit-filled school, where like-minded teachers pray for and love one another, their students, and the families.
Mrs. Cordova met her husband, Bertin, in Japan, while he was working on his Ph.D. in Computer Vision and Robotics. They became friends after giving their lives to Jesus and getting baptized in the Kinugawa River. They were married three years later, in the year 2000, in Utsunomiya, Tochigi, Japan. During her seventeen years in Japan, Mrs. Cordova was blessed with two beautiful daughters, Natasha Sakura and Taneisha Megumi. She and her family currently reside in the Santa Cruz Mountains in Los Gatos, California.
I have taught in public and Christian schools for more than fifteen years. I choose to teach at CCA because I know that the Lord is the focus in all we do at the school. Our purpose is to raise up a generation of well-equipped, Christian men and women, who know the truth and are able to live according to God's will.
My husband and I have been married for over fifteen years. We have one son who attends CCA—and he loves it!
I believe that education and the Gospel are two of the greatest gifts one can give society. That is why I am so excited to be starting my first year at CCA, where I can share both! In 2013, I started my teaching career; and since then, I have taught all age ranges (from infants to high school) in Spanish, music, dance, and other academic subjects. I have also taught internationally at an evangelical school in South Africa.
Outside of school, I love to paint, journal, songwrite, dance, and spend quality time with family and friends. I currently live with my parents and two brothers, but I got engaged in June 2019—so, I am working on getting my "Mrs." by next summer!
I have always felt a calling and love for teaching young children. Throughout the years, God has allowed me to experience great joy, as I have served in many different teaching roles. One role that stands out was an amazing opportunity to teach overseas in Thailand. There, God put my talents to the test—and all of my experiences. Living in a different culture helped shape me into who I am as a teacher.
This will be my fourth year teaching at CCA, and I am so incredibly excited to see how God is going to use me to impact the lives of my students this year. The most wonderful thing I have experienced so far at CCA is the incredible unity and Christ-centered mentality that the faculty and staff members have. It is truly a one-of-a-kind school, and I am blessed to be able to teach here!
This summer, my husband David and I welcomed our first baby girl, Selah Grace, into the world! She has been such a joy and blessing from the Lord. Outside of teaching and family time, I enjoy baking and cooking, traveling, reading God's Word, and going to the beach. You will often find me at a local coffee shop reading, doing devotions, working, or just enjoying my tea.
My passion for teaching began as a two year old, when Mr. Potato Head and Cabbage Patch made the perfect pupils. I confess, teaching has never been as easy as it was back then, but that has not stopped my absolute adoration of it!
For the past ten years, I have been blessed to raise and homeschool our two, lovely children using the Classical method of education—while keeping our Lord Jesus Christ at the center. Now, God has called our family to Calvary Christian Academy, and we could not be more thrilled to extend our undeniable love for Him and for learning! We are thrilled to join the CCA community, which knows that every child is a precious gift and that teaching is a beautiful privilege.
This is my first year working at Calvary, and I am so excited to see what God is going to do through me, here. I am so blessed to be able to journey alongside young children, as they grow and pursue God. I know that I will learn so much about what it means to have child-like faith from my students, and I pray that I will be able to encourage them in their daily walk with the Lord.
For the past two years, I have worked as a substitute teacher in several public school districts in the Bay Area. I have substitute taught in grades K-8th. I really enjoyed gaining experience at many different schools in many different classrooms. While I enjoyed the day-to-day changes of being a substitute, I am so thankful to now be employed at a wonderful, private school, where I can share my beliefs and grow alongside the students, faculty, and staff. I look forward to my time, here, at CCA.
My husband and I have been married for two years, and we both grew up in San Jose. We would love to get a dog soon! In my free time, I love to shop, spend time with family, grab a coffee at my favorite café (Peet’s), and eat sushi.
I have been teaching at Calvary Christian Academy since 2019. I am so blessed to be a part of this Christ-centered, amazing community! I believe it is God alone who has called and equipped me to be a teacher. I have had the privilege of working in many, different school settings, and have found so much joy in working with children. What makes CCA so unique is its vision to train up children to live their lives for the glory of God. I look forward every day to instructing children across all subject areas and life matters from a Biblical perspective. It is my prayer that the Lord will work mightily in our classroom to grow me and my students this year. May He accomplish, through His power, more than we could ask or imagine!
When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I love being outdoors, whether it is in my backyard swimming, going to the beach, or hiking. You can often find me sitting with my cat, my Bible, and a cup of coffee.
I am very excited to be starting my third year working at CCA. This year, I will be a teacher's aide in the elementary school. I love working with children and cannot wait to be a part of teaching students about God and the beautiful world He has created for us!
I am currently attending West Valley Community College and will shortly transfer to Arizona State University's online program. In my free time, I enjoy reading, drawing, hiking, and spending time with family.
This will be my sixth year teaching at Calvary Christian Academy. I have loved my time at CCA because I get the opportunity to walk alongside students on their academic journey and watch as they grow in their relationship with Jesus. Each day, I see their faces light up when they learn something new, whether it is a new concept in Science or a new truth about God. What a joy!
My husband, Colin, and I have been married for five years. In our free time, we enjoy camping, hiking, and drinking good coffee!
I love being a part of Calvary Christian Academy because it is centered around Christ’s love and God’s truth. The faculty and staff have blessed me—and countless families—through their prayers, encouragement, and friendship. The children and their families bring joy to my heart everyday. Even on the most difficult of days, I am so thankful to spend my time teaching, loving on, and caring for the children at CCA.
I love spending time with my husband, as we serve in ministries together, try out new recipes, play games with friends, read, explore new places, and create fun projects!
I moved to the Bay Area in 2010 to work in a corporate position, but I dreamed of teaching at Calvary Christian Academy since its re-opening that same year! Familiar with the classical education model, I am very excited to be teaching in the pivotal, sixth grade year—guiding students into deeper analytical thinking and introducing them to more formal logical reasoning skills.
What is truly unique about CCA is the school's focus on Christ and the students’ knowledge of and relationship with Him. What more important subject can they learn? The ability to teach about Jesus and couch the other subjects in the reality of His Word is an invaluable aspect of this school, which makes all the difference in the lives of its students.
My husband and I have been married for twenty-five years, and we have been blessed by God in our walk together with Him. We enjoy road trips, swimming, walking, and just having quiet nights at home. My time alone is mainly spent knitting, reading, and playing with our tiny dog.
I have been blessed to be a part of the Calvary Christian Academy staff since 2014. One of the most amazing things about this school is its focus for teachers and the students on giving God the glory in everything they do. Another amazing thing about CCA is that the staff and parents have the same mindset: to love as Christ has loved us, and the end result is precious students, who love and desire to serve the Lord.
I have had the desire to teach since I entered 8th grade at CCA. After one year as a CCA student, a new passion was created in me for two reasons. The first was the love of my teachers. Second, everything being centered around Christ changed my outlook on academics. It has been a blessing to be able to pursue my passion of teaching in a school that has come alongside me and encouraged me to follow God’s direction. One of the most rewarding things about working with CCA students, year after year, is seeing them grow—not only academically, but also in their love for God.
Having recently moved to San Jose from Manhattan, I look forward to teaching at Calvary Christian Academy this fall! I am very grateful to serve in a school which prioritizes not only rigorous habits of mind, but also habits of heart.
From grades one through eight, I learned at home with my brother and four sisters. My mom chose a curriculum for us nearly identical to the one used at CCA, and it has been so sweet to revisit these texts! I am glad to align myself with a community which prioritizes the pursuit of Beauty and Truth, modeled for us through literature which enriches the mind and soul.
While attending high school at Cranbrook Kingswood in Michigan, I began learning Latin, and I immediately knew it would remain a focus throughout my life. Later, at Columbia, I also studied Biblical and Attic Greek. As a teacher, I treasure the opportunity to educate students about the persistent themes and resonances of these languages throughout Western literature; they are so rich.
Most recently, I taught Latin, English, and Greek at Saint Thomas Choir School in Midtown, Manhattan. This boarding school, for boys in grades three through eight, housed the choristers of the Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys. I am very thankful to have taught in a school with such a rich tradition, and I miss each one of those students dearly. (I am, however, excited to teach girls for the first time this year!)
I look forward to beginning at CCA and to all that I will learn from this community. While preparing to move and reflecting on the role of an educator, I have found myself increasingly aware of my own weakness. The good news is that further understanding in this area has led me to further rejoice in God’s grace: I strive to ever more joyfully shape my desires towards goodness.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy exercise, reading, and visiting farmers’ markets. I also serve as the COO of a global non-profit organization that equips individuals to advocate for accountability within the pharmaceutical industry. I believe this is another area to which I have been called, so you may also find me at the Capitol lobbying for policy changes!
Teaching the highschool and middle school students at CCA has been a gift from God for two powerful reasons: CCA's staff and the carefully-curated curriculum. From the administrators to faculty to office workers, every staff member is a "doer of the Word, not just a hearer" (James 1:22-25). This foundation is critical and not to be assumed common amongst Christian schools.
Each staff member's deep, abiding love for Jesus in word and deed, coupled with the thought-provoking curriculum, daily spurns me upward to teach and disciple my students in a way that becomes a conduit for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. This makes our class time engaging and highly relevant to the students' present and future, full of critical analysis and expression. It makes the learning atmosphere infused with love, grace, restorative discipline, and acceptance, so that wisdom and truth and deepening character can be extracted and internalized by each. Over the past seven years, I have found that new students enter CCA as kids simply going to class; but throughout the year, they are transformed into members of a community, who realize they have great value, purpose, and a God-given calling. We get them excited!
When not in the classroom, I can be found grading—ha! In addition, however, I enjoy trying out great restaurants, going on weekend road trips to the mountains, learning to cook from scratch, tending the chickens and vegetable patch, and planning future travel adventures.
Gail Efting’s purpose is to live each day as unto the Lord, doing the works He has prepared for her in the light of His Word. Her mission is to encourage others to consistently apply God’s truth to every aspect of everyday life. She has served as a Biblical Counselor and Theological Librarian for over thirty years, supporting others in the discovery of the beauty and power of God's Truth in resolving every issue.
Mrs. Efting has taught at all educational levels, including college classrooms and corporate boardrooms, and she has offered support and encouragement to Christian schools and homeschooling families for over forty years. She has conducted research and provided teacher training and consultation in a wide variety of environments around the world—from small, private learning communities to public high schools with up to sixteen hundred students.
Mrs. Efting grew up loving Aristotelian Logic, Inductive Bible Study, Austrian School Economics, and the Constitution of the United States. She hopes our students will build such loves, as well, before they go out to change the world.
After five years of teaching, I am excited to continue my journey and join the CCA team and community. I believe teaching extends outside the classroom walls. Teaching is more than imparting knowledge to students: it is seeing their lives transformed for Christ and helping them grow deeper in their relationship with Christ. I have seen this transformation over the years here in the United States, through my online teaching in Beijing, and also in Panama.
My husband and I planted a church in South San Jose six years ago, and we have been happily married for almost twelve years. Our three children attend CCA. When I am outside the classroom, I enjoy listening to audiobooks, organizing, going to the gym, and going on hikes.
I have chosen to be part of the CCA family because the school desires to honor God. Our goal is to help raise young men and women, who love God with all their heart. The Lord has called me to serve His children, and it is an honor to serve Him at CCA. What I like most about serving at CCA is that my character is being polished everyday.
I have been married for eight years to my husband, who was my college sweetheart. On my days off, I enjoy running or hiking medium distances. I also like listening to audio books, spending time with the people I love, and snacking on dark chocolate and nuts.
It is a privilege to be working with the students at Calvary Christian Academy. CCA is a school built upon the firmest of foundations, God’s Word. There is no greater joy of mine than to take part in the discipleship of our students and watch them develop a personal relationship with Him.
Outside of CCA, I serve on staff at Calvary Christian Fellowship and oversee the Jr. High, High School, and Young Adult ministries.
I have been blessed to be a part of CCA as a parent since 2010, when the school opened, and as part of the staff since 2017. My husband and I have been married for twenty-three years, and we have been blessed with six children.
It has been such a joy and privilege to work in a Spirit-filled school alongside an amazing staff, who are passionate about what they do and in their love for the Lord! My favorite part of teaching at CCA is seeing the students grow in their knowledge, faith, and love for the Lord.
I also enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, baking, listening to music, and hosting in my home.
Here at CCA, where literature is one of the hallmarks of classical education, I cherish the opportunity to help our students discover a passion for reading. There is so much that students can learn about our Creator, humanity, morality, and life as they connect with stories! I am also excited to introduce our young scholars to the basics of library skills. I look forward to helping these bright young minds use the truth of Christ to discern and evaluate information that comes their way.
My husband and I have three children, all attending CCA. They have been blessed with loving teachers and staff, as well as a rigorous education that has nurtured their faith in Christ.
It is a pleasure to be serving at CCA, as a part of their music education program. Having been involved in this private school environment since the Fall of 2015, I have regularly been working as a music teacher and educator since 2008. I have been fortunate to have a background in worship music, as well as other music disciplines.
I am very privileged to work at CCA for many reasons. Initially, this work allows me to nurture my calling in discipling those around me and pouring into their growth. Additionally, I enjoy interacting with all the students, spending time with the staff, and working specifically in music. And finally, it is fantastic to be in such a Christ-centered environment aimed at bringing God glory in all endeavors.
Outside of school, I cherish two siblings, two wonderful parents, and a little rabbit (who sometimes chews on our household items!). In my spare time, I enjoy taking naps, dabbling in audio-engineering, jamming with friends, or taking walks. And I almost never say "no" to a great meal.
For the past ten years, I have felt a passion to serve the Lord. I have helped to start churches, and I have always been involved in the Children’s Ministry, as well as coordinating children’s functions at church. This year, I felt a strong call to work at CCA. My two sons attend the school—the oldest for the past seven years. I truly know that the Lord is doing something wonderful at CCA, and I am fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to disciple them in a field I personally love, physical education. I believe being physically healthy also makes for the strong mind and body necessary to serve the Lord.
I have been married to my wife for thirteen years, and together, we have three beautiful children. In my free time, I love to watch sports, play basketball with my sons, cook, and spend time with my family.
My motto is "Stronger than yesterday and a little bit better than the day before."
I love encouraging our youth to train what God has given them for His glory. More than ever, our children need to see that they were created in His image for a unique and special purpose, every detail of their being perfectly thought out. You would not think so, but even during P.E., students expect to be the same speed, height, and weight—but that is not how God made them. My job is help train each student to take care of their body and improve their own skills. The focus needs to be on doing the best they can do each day and improving what God has given them.
I love God, my family, exercising, music, and horses. Beyond that, I want and aim to live for Christ. I've wasted too much time on pride, selfishness—and did I say pride?!? I praise God that He has allowed me this opportunity to serve Him.
The verse I hold onto is Isiash 43:19: "Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."
I have been teaching Art at Calvary Christian Academy since 2017. As an artist and teacher, I enjoy guiding and encouraging children to see their God-given creative and artistic potential. It is a pleasure to train students to seek and be inspired by the truth, goodness, and beauty all around them in God's amazing creation. What a blessing it is for me to witness firsthand students growing in their artistic skills, while glorifying Him with their artwork!
My husband and I have been married for seventeen years. Our daughter, who has attended CCA since preschool, will be entering the sixth grade. During my free time, I enjoy being outdoors with my family, playing the violin, painting and drawing, visiting the symphony, and exploring art museums.
This is my first year working at CCA, and I am so blessed to join such an amazing school! God has definitely led me to this school, and I am excited to be a part of all that He has planned at CCA this fall. As the new Admissions Director, I look forward to meeting and working with all of the precious families here at CCA!
I have recently become a grandma to my precious granddaughter, Selah Grace Wills, and I love spending time with her in my free time. I also love the ocean, taking walks at the park, and spending time in prayer.
I am so excited to be a part of Calvary Christian Academy’s mission by supporting the school in the area of finance. CCA is an amazing school and discipleship community that seeks to put God ahead of everything they do.
Previously, I worked for almost ten years for the federal government in the area of budget and finance. Now, I am blessed to hear precious children reciting verses and songs when I walk down the hallway and to work with the wonderful families here.
My husband, Yohan, and I relocated our family to the Bay area in 2018. Our two boys attend CCA and love it! We attend Revive Presbyterian, a church plant in Sunnyvale.
In my free time, I love to garden, bake, create art with my kids, and plan fun trips and outings.
This is my fifth year working at CCA, and I am so excited to be serving as the school’s registrar! I believe in God's ability to transform lives and direct us as His messengers on the earth.
I am completing the final year of my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at William Jessup University. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, drinking tea, and Bible journaling!
I have worked with preschoolers for over fifteen years, first as a preschool teacher and now as director. I started teaching here at Calvary in 2007 and then became director in 2011. It is such a privilege and an honor to support and be supported by such a wonderful and caring staff. I feel truly blessed to be a part of this ministry sharing the love of Jesus with our preschoolers and their families.
My husband and I have been married for 14 years and have been blessed with five beautiful children, four girls and one boy. When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, knitting, and reading.
I have been a preschool teacher for over 20 years. I have taught here at Calvary since 2011. I have been blessed to work with this age group and it's been amazing! At this age group, the children have such a tender heart to recieve God's word. The staff here at CCA have a heart for God. It's such a blessing to be a part of this awesome team!
I have been married to my husband for eighteen years. We have have five beautiful children and one grandaughter. When not at school, I love to read books and go on adventures.
I have been a preschool teacher for over 20 years. I have taught here at Calvary since 2011. It is a joy and privilege to be part of such a wonderful school where our mission is to show these little ones the love of God as well as encourage a love for education. I give God all the glory for the many blessings I have received from all the little ones and our loving staff!
I have been married to my husband for 37 years. We have four beautiful children and six grandchildren, who I absolutely adore! When not in school I love spending time with my family and going on weekend getaways with my husband.
The Lord has always put a passion for children on my hear since I was young. I have worked professionally with children for over two years and have volunteered in the Church children ministry for aabout 6years. I also worked with infants for over a year and I loved being able to be a part of their firsts and watch them grow into toddlerhood and onto preschool. I truly enjoy getting to teach children something new and just being caretaker to children in general.
My Husband Jose and I have been married for almost 4 years, and have a son named Aadyn and a daughter named Eva. When not at school, I enjoy the outdoors, spending time with my family, and knitting.
