I began working at Calvary Christian Academy in 2017. It is such a joy to work alongside staff and families who put God first and constantly support and pray for each other in love and unity. I have always had a heart for children, and I love the school’s vision and passion for training up the next generation of children to live Christ-centered lives. In the years I’ve worked at CCA, the students have reminded me what it means to have childlike faith. This school is truly a special place, and I am so excited to see how God will continue to move in and through the community here!
In my free time, you can find me painting, hiking, drinking coffee, writing, singing, and leading worship.
Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I have been teaching for about 12 years. It is a true blessing to be able to teach in a Christian school because it allows me to teach about the love of Jesus. The Lord has blessed my husband I with two amazing boys. As a family, we definitely feel His presences in every aspect of our lives.
I am a mother of three children and love that I can work and send them to CCA. I feel called to serve here as I want to be a part of the battle for our children to grow in the knowledge and love of the Lord in all education subjects.
This is my first year at CCA, and I'm excited to see how God will use me to further His kingdom!
I am married to my husband, Garret, for 11 years! Our kids and I enjoy hiking, camping, visiting National Parks, as well as eating great food! I also love growing and designing flowers for weddings!
I truly believe God has prepared and equipped me to be a teacher. I have had the wonderful privileged of teaching at Calvary Christian Academy since 2015. I chose to teach at CCA because it is Christ-centered to the core. I share the same passion and vision for education as our school: to train up, discipline, and educate children in the ways of the Lord. As an educator, it is my desire to provide a loving and nurturing environment for students as they learn and grow, not only in academics, but also in their personal relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ.
When I am not in the classroom, I can often be found completing a fun art project, decorating for an event, playing a board game, or watching an old classical movie or a cooking show. I also love spending time with my family and traveling the world. One unique thing about me is that I am a childhood cancer survivor. God graciously spared me from cancer and has allowed me to be a living testimony of His great faithfulness and sovereignty.
I have taught in public and Christian schools for more than fifteen years. I choose to teach at CCA because I know that the Lord is the focus in all we do at the school. Our purpose is to raise up a generation of well-equipped, Christian men and women, who know the truth and are able to live according to God's will.
My husband and I have been married for over fifteen years. We have one son who attends CCA—and he loves it!
This is my second year serving at Calvary Christian Academy as the 2nd grade aide. It is a blessing to serve at a school that is focused on raising the next generation to love and know the Lord! This year I am looking forward to growing with the students and guiding them in their love for learning and the Lord.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and hiking. I am so excited to be serving alongside an amazing team this year!
This is my third year working at Calvary, and I am so excited to see what God is going to do through me, here. I am so blessed to be able to journey alongside young children, as they grow and pursue God. I know that I will learn so much about what it means to have child-like faith from my students, and I pray that I will be able to encourage them in their daily walk with the Lord.
I worked as a substitute teacher for two years in several public school districts in the Bay Area. I have substitute taught in grades K-8th. I really enjoyed gaining experience at many different schools in many different classrooms. While I enjoyed the day-to-day changes of being a substitute, I am so thankful to now be employed at a wonderful, private school, where I can share my beliefs and grow alongside the students, faculty, and staff. I look forward to my time, here, at CCA.
My husband and I have been married for several years, and we both grew up in San Jose. We would love to get a dog soon! In my free time, I love to shop, spend time with family, grab a coffee at my favorite café (Peet’s), and eat sushi.
I love working with children and moreover at a Christian school because they are our future and we must teach them the love of our God and our great nation. I felt called to serve here at CCA when I heard the need for teachers aides. I had time and I wanted to work for God's glory and kingdom. I have been serving at another church for almost 20 years through missions trips to China, introducing God's Word to the Middle School teachers and teaching about Christianity. I have also been to Mexico on Easter and Christmas as a translator. I am happily married. I like sewing, doing crafts, photography, scrapbooking, and event planning.
This is my second year serving at CCA! Last year I was privileged to serve as the T/Th 3rd grade teacher, and this year I will be serving as the M/W/F 5th grade teacher. I'm looking forward to a new year with new adventures!
After staying home for 10 years to raise and homeschool our lovely children, God put it on our hearts to join CCA. Our family shares the same mission and values, keeping Christ at the center of all pursuits. Additionally, we felt God telling us to expand our love for children and teaching beyond the walls of our own home.
Words cannot describe our love for every student and the opportunity to teach a Christ-centered educated! There is nothing more precious than teaching our youth these simple truths: God IS real, God loves them, and they are created to do amazing things for His glory! The Classical Christian model is exciting in its ability to unite subjects together, teaching students how everything in God's creation connects and has purpose. We are so excited to be contagious with our love for learning and our Savior!
My husband and I have two wonderful children: Keanan and Shiloh. My husband, Ivan, also teaches a Mechanical Engineering class for high schoolers here at CCA. We love our faithful dog Scout, being outdoors, doing everything adventurous and sometimes odd (but don't tell us that). While God has blessed us abundantly in the present, and we embrace all His gifts with humble gratitude, we understand how temporary this life is and find our greatest pleasure seeking Him!
I'm a recent High School graduate and am excited to train your children in not only scholarly knowledge, but Biblical knowledge as well. I was home-schooled with my two younger sisters from 2nd grade on. Watching my mom teach and care for my younger sisters inspired me greatly. So when I heard the call to work at Calvary, I felt more than ready to answr. Just as my mom did for me, I hope to inspire your kids to enjoy learning and invest in their spiritual lives.
I have 27 years of teaching experience in the public school setting. Recently, I've had a growing need to leave that system. From this, a stronger and stronger calling brought me to CCA. I am happy to be here to unite with families in grace and truth. I look forward to developing student confidence, awareness, and love in the Lord.
I am excited to share a love learning with students this year at CCA in the calling that the Lord gave to me to be here. I have been married for 28 years and have four children. I have been homeschooling for the past 20 years using Charlotte Mason and Classical Conversations. I am a retired software engineer who is also a country girl who has done the Ironman competition.
Instructing the next generation, teaching boys how to be biblical, masculine, and godly men
My four grandchildren are all presently enrolled. My wife and I have raised two adult children and seven grandchildren. I like to play golf, fish, and hunt. I grew up in Kansas then moved to California on December 31st 1977.
I have been blessed to be a part of CCA as a parent since 2010, when the school opened, and as part of the staff since 2017. My husband and I have been married for twenty-three years, and we have been blessed with six children.
It has been such a joy and privilege to work in a Spirit-filled school alongside an amazing staff, who are passionate about what they do and in their love for the Lord! My favorite part of teaching at CCA is seeing the students grow in their knowledge, faith, and love for the Lord.
I also enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, baking, listening to music, and hosting in my home.
I have been blessed to be a part of the Calvary Christian Academy staff since 2014. One of the most amazing things about this school is its focus for teachers and the students on giving God the glory in everything they do. Another amazing thing about CCA is that the staff and parents have the same mindset: to love as Christ has loved us, and the end result is precious students, who love and desire to serve the Lord.
I have had the desire to teach since I entered 8th grade at CCA. After one year as a CCA student, a new passion was created in me for two reasons. The first was the love of my teachers. Second, everything being centered around Christ changed my outlook on academics. It has been a blessing to be able to pursue my passion of teaching in a school that has come alongside me and encouraged me to follow God’s direction. One of the most rewarding things about working with CCA students, year after year, is seeing them grow—not only academically, but also in their love for God.
I love sharing my passion for serving the Lord with my students. It is such a joy to pray God's word over them and to teach them how to practically apply His principles and promises to their individual lives on a daily basis. This is my second year of teachng at CCA and my third year serving as facilitator of "Moms in Prayer". I have been married for 28 years and my husband, Anthony and I have four precious children. Our family enjoys spending time together at the beach, playing board games, watching movies, attending church, and having picnics in the great outdoors.
I have been teaching at Calvary Christian Academy since 2019. I am so blessed to be a part of this Christ-centered, amazing community! I believe it is God alone who has called and equipped me to be a teacher. I have had the privilege of working in many, different school settings, and have found so much joy in working with children. What makes CCA so unique is its vision to train up children to live their lives for the glory of God. I look forward every day to instructing children across all subject areas and life matters from a Biblical perspective. It is my prayer that the Lord will work mightily in our classroom to grow me and my students this year. May He accomplish, through His power, more than we could ask or imagine!
When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I love being outdoors, whether it is in my backyard swimming, going to the beach, or hiking. You can often find me sitting with my cat, my Bible, and a cup of coffee.
For the past 11 years, I was blessed with homeschooling my three daughters, ages 17, 15, and 13. My husband and I felt the Lord leading our family to the community at CCA and we're excited to see what He has planned fo us here. I am passionate about sharing a love for learning and encouraging young people in their spiritual walk. I am so grateful for this opporutnity to spend time with the eighth grade girls. Other than working with kids, I love gardening, traveling, and playing games with my family. My husband and I celebrated 28 years of marriage this summer.
Beginning my third year at CCA, I am very grateful to serve in a school which prioritizes not only rigorous habits of mind, but also habits of heart.
From grades one through eight, I learned at home with my brother and four sisters. My mom chose a curriculum for us nearly identical to the one used at CCA, and it has been so sweet to revisit these texts! I am glad to align myself with a community which prioritizes the pursuit of Beauty and Truth, modeled for us through literature which enriches the mind and soul.
While attending high school at Cranbrook Kingswood in Michigan, I began learning Latin, and I immediately knew it would remain a focus throughout my life. Later, at Columbia, I also studied Biblical and Attic Greek. As a teacher, I treasure the opportunity to educate students about the persistent themes and resonances of these languages throughout Western literature; they are so rich.
Prior to CCA, I taught Latin and English at Saint Thomas Choir School in Midtown, Manhattan. This boarding school, for boys in grades three through eight, housed the choristers of the Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys. It was a lovely experience to have taught in a school with such a rich tradition, and I enjoyed each moment of life in New York City!
Since moving to California, I have been blessed by the wonderful community of teachers and families at CCA. The opportunity to teach at a school with a clear vision and unified faculty causes me to rejoice daily in God's grace and provision.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy exercise, reading, and visiting farmers’ markets. While living in New York, I also danced ballet professionally, so as a "retired" ballet dancer, I enjoy taking and teaching classes recreationally!
For the past decade I have been living and teaching in Hangzhou, China. God richly blessed the time and experience of teaching in International Schools and living in a fascinating culture. However, God placed a deep longing within me to be able to teach in a Christian school and community and, “to God be the glory,” He paved the way to San Jose and I was brought into this wonderful school.
In my work experience, I have served as an assistant and senior pastor in Baptist churches in Ohio and California. For the past 25 years I have been teaching High School and Junior High English classes in Cincinnati, Ohio and Hangzhou, China.
As a child I was blessed to grow up in the Midwest and have always enjoyed the lakes, open fields and forests of that area. I am married and we have three adult children. My hobbies are fishing, reading, writing short stories, and song writing.
Gail Efting’s purpose is to live each day as unto the Lord, doing the works He has prepared for her in the light of His Word. Her mission is to encourage others to consistently apply God’s truth to every aspect of everyday life. She has served as a Biblical Counselor and Theological Librarian for over thirty years, supporting others in the discovery of the beauty and power of God's Truth in resolving every issue.
Mrs. Efting has taught at all educational levels, including college classrooms and corporate boardrooms, and she has offered support and encouragement to Christian schools and homeschooling families for over forty years. She has conducted research and provided teacher training and consultation in a wide variety of environments around the world—from small, private learning communities to public high schools with up to sixteen hundred students.
Mrs. Efting grew up loving Aristotelian Logic, Inductive Bible Study, Austrian School Economics, and the Constitution of the United States. She hopes our students will build such loves, as well, before they go out to change the world.
God called me to serve at CCA to share my knowledge and experiences in the science industry and to help recognize that God gave us science and math as a tool to build and glorify His kingdom.
I started teaching at CCA in 2021. I taught Physics and Calculus for the Rhetoric School. I'm married to Sargon Ishaya, also a teacher at CCA. We have two kids at CCA: Segy and Angelina. I enjoy gardening, reading and learning God's Word, and playing with my kids. I enjoy playing different sporting activities. I was captain fo my H.S varsity volleyball team and my husband and I previously competed in amateur ballroom competitions.
After many years of the business world, it is an honor to be teaching geometry with the excellent CCA faculty and staff. I'm excited to share my passion for math and God's design with the CCA students.
My husband I have been married for 18 years an are blessed with two sons and two grandchildren. I look forward to making many new CCA friends!
I have worked directly with and in support of the biopharmaceutical industry for over thirty years. My background is in bio analysis and quality control and research. I am called to be a Christian mentor/discipler to young people and encourage a love of science with a Christian worldview. I look forward to working with students to explore God's design and beauty in the fields of Biology and Chemistry.
My wife and I have been married for over 25 years and we have three blessed teenage children. For hobbies, I enjoy fresh water tropical fish keeping and orchid growing. I do enjoy fishing at the beach with family, and appreciating God's creation!!!
I think we are at a critical time in the history of our country. We need to train more 'Followers of Jesus' in our country to make our society better. This is what I feel has drawn me to CCA.
I have attended CCSJ for two years because CCSJ stayed open when my church closed. I am widowed and have two stepchildren. I read apologetics history and mystery books.
I love working in Christian education because it allows free speech and free religion. We are then able as teachers to lead and share Christian life experiences and Biblical truths to truly enrich and guide these young adults in their future schooling, discipleship, vocation, family life, and the Great Commission.
This is my second school year teaching at CCA. I have one adult daughter who works in a medical profession. I am married to a wonderful woman who is equally yoked in Christian faith and Christian worldview action. My hobbies include road and mountain biking, ice skating, foreign languages, and travel trivia.
I absolutely love teaching at a Christian school and working with the students because God can be found in every subject. I am able to teach and learn more about God while teaching that subject. This is my second year at CCA. I enjoy singing, making music, and watching movies with my family and husband.
I enjoyed managing my own technology marketing business, MarketSavvy, for 20+ years while raising my daughter. My book, The Path to Revenue: Secrets of Successful Tech Leaders details some lessons learned in my career. Last year, God called me to explore work/life skills with CCA high school students. I’m passionate about teaching kids to live debt-free and be good stewards of the blessings God gives us. This year, I’m excited about our new entrepreneurship class where we’ll explore starting our own businesses.
I’m also passionate about LIFE! I became a Mom through adoption, and believe that God called me start Unplanned Good, which combined the gifts He gave me -- my marketing skills and my precious daughter. Since 2010, I’ve led a non-profit called UnplannedGood.org/ to encourage women facing unplanned pregnancy to consider adoption as an alternative to abortion. My new book is Pro-Choice Pro-Adoption: It’s Time for a Loving, Positive Response to Unplanned Pregnancy. I speak at conferences on the topic of open adoption.
I am honored to spend a few hours weekly with your kids at CCA, and want to leverage my business experience, non-profit leadership and God-given talents to make a positive impact on their futures.
For fun, I love spending my free time with my daughter, hiking, writing, cooking, discussing politics and traveling.
I have had the privelege of teaching art at Clavary Christian Academy since 2017. However, my path in teaching at CCA started during the 2016-2017 school year. I volunteered in Mrs. Arndt's second grade class coordinating art projects for my daughter and her classmates. It was a special experience I cherished each week. God's voice was loud and clear when an opening for the Art teacher position was annouced that spring; enthusiastically, I obeyed His calling and have been blessed beyond measure ever since.
As a Christian, artist, and teacher, my purpose at CCA is to encourage our precious students to value and develop their God-given creative and artistic gifts; ultimately, pointing them to Christ with everything they create. It is a peasure to train students from Kindergarten through High School to seek and be inspired by the truth, goodness, and beuty surrounding them in God's amazing creation.
My husband I have been married for nineteen years. Our daughter, who has attended CCA since preschool, will be entering eigth grade. We enjoy serving at CCSJ- my husband serves on the worship team, and my daughter and I serve in Children's Ministry. During my free time, I love being outdoors with my family, playing the violin, drawing, painiting, visiting the symphony, and exploring art museums. Recently, I've been learning to grow fruits and vegetables- it's a rewarding and delicious pastime!
I am blessed to have the opportunity to teach at CCA. Being able to share the love of jesus with students in the classroom is life changing for students and faculty. I am a grandma of six, ages 2-14. Recently, my husband of 37 years, a wonderful, Christian, passed away. I am blessed to be comforted by Jesus love as I adapt to my new life. I keep active by swimming every day.
As a past instructional aide with a strong desire to see children develop academically and in their faith, I value the chance to nurture others in expanding their knowledge of God, His Word, and with with any educational projects. I'm ecstatic to be working at a school where God's love is openly implemented into instruction and comprehension.
In 2018, I became a mother to my wonderful son, Matteo. One of our favorite things to do together is read books and tell each other stories. My greatest prayer for my family and I is for us to keep loving and following God, just as He loves and is there for us.
It is a pleasure to be serving at CCA, as a part of their music education program. Having been involved in this private school environment since the Fall of 2015, I have regularly been working as a music teacher and educator since 2008. I have been fortunate to have a background in worship music, as well as other music disciplines.
I am very privileged to work at CCA for many reasons. Initially, this work allows me to nurture my calling in discipling those around me and pouring into their growth. Additionally, I enjoy interacting with all the students, spending time with the staff, and working specifically in music. And finally, it is fantastic to be in such a Christ-centered environment aimed at bringing God glory in all endeavors.
Outside of school, I cherish two siblings, two wonderful parents, and a little rabbit (who sometimes chews on our household items!). In my spare time, I enjoy taking naps, dabbling in audio-engineering, jamming with friends, or taking walks. And I almost never say "no" to a great meal.
I am starting my first year at CCA and this is my first time teaching in a formal setting. What I have found from my teaching experience, is that I enjoy seeing others learn, and I get satisfaction from them gaining understanding from what I teach them.
My experience in music goes back to 2009 when I started learning the violin I have been serving in worship since 2011. I spend my free time (when I am not playing music) reading and walking.
My motto is "Stronger than yesterday and a little bit better than the day before."
I love encouraging our youth to train what God has given them for His glory. More than ever, our children need to see that they were created in His image for a unique and special purpose, every detail of their being perfectly thought out. You would not think so, but even during P.E., students expect to be the same speed, height, and weight—but that is not how God made them. My job is help train each student to take care of their body and improve their own skills. The focus needs to be on doing the best they can do each day and improving what God has given them.
I love God, my family, exercising, music, and horses. Beyond that, I want and aim to live for Christ. I've wasted too much time on pride, selfishness—and did I say pride?!? I praise God that He has allowed me this opportunity to serve Him.
The verse I hold onto is Isiash 43:19: "Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."
For the past ten years, I have felt a passion to serve the Lord. I have helped to start churches, and I have always been involved in the Children’s Ministry, as well as coordinating children’s functions at church. This year, I felt a strong call to work at CCA. My two sons attend the school—the oldest for the past seven years. I truly know that the Lord is doing something wonderful at CCA, and I am fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to disciple them in a field I personally love, physical education. I believe being physically healthy also makes for the strong mind and body necessary to serve the Lord.
I have been married to my wife for thirteen years, and together, we have three beautiful children. In my free time, I love to watch sports, play basketball with my sons, cook, and spend time with my family.
More than ten years ago the Lord put a desire on my heart to start a school which disciples future ministers and missionaries for God’s kingdom. When my children were learning classically at home, I knew what type of school was needed to disciple children to become world changers. Proverbs 22:6 states that we are to “train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.” With this mission, we opened our doors in the fall of 2011. It is my pleasure to lead and support Calvary Christian Academy through providing vision and upholding the standard of God’s infallible word!
I have been married to my wife, Brenda, for over twenty years. We have seven children together. When we are not serving at church or school, we enjoy time together as a family.
It is so much fun working and teaching at a Classical Christian School, especially with the Junior High students. I was in Jr. High when I made a commitment to fully surrender my life to Christ. Teaching Junior High is my absolute passion!
Our curriculum at CCA is living and works mightily in the hearts of those who are blessed to go through it. It is an absolute joy to teach at such an amazing school. Not only do I enjoy the students and curriculum, but I also love working with the staff. At CCA, we have amazing, Christian men and women, who are committed to Christ and doing their best for His glory!
I have been happily married to Michael for over twenty years, and I am blessed to have seven children, who range in age from elementary to college. All of our children, who have attended CCA, have been so blessed and loved by their teachers. Their spiritual and academic growth is astounding! When I am not working at the school, I love spending time with my family, gardening, sewing, cooking, teaching Bible studies, and so much more!
Having joined Calvary Christian Academy in 2015, I have taught for over thirty years, preschool through twelfth grade. I embrace classical, Christian education for two primary reasons. First, it maintains the proper goal of education, which is not to merely train good technicians or accountants, but to cultivate virtue and purpose in the lives of students. Second, classical, Christian education is vastly superior to the modern approach to education because, through the Trivium, it utilizes the student’s natural developmental stages to produce a student equipped to both think and articulate great ideas. While CCA meets these two goals, the emphasis on discipleship to produce world changers for Jesus Christ excites me the most.
It is my deepest desire to partner with families, as we strive together to be legacy builders to the glory of God. I love teaching elementary school Math all the way up to Calculus, but my accomplishments also include teaching Bible, Engineering, Jr. & Sr. High School Science, Technology, and P.E. Additionally, my background includes teacher training in all curriculum areas, parent training as a minister and seminar speaker, and corporate training in various software applications (including 3D CAD/Internet Collaboration).
My wife, Crissi, and I have been married for over 25 years. We have two, grown daughters and one grandson. I am most blessed among men with the amazing family God has provided me.
Here at CCA, where literature is one of the hallmarks of classical education, I cherish the opportunity to help our students discover a passion for reading. There is so much that students can learn about our Creator, humanity, morality, and life as they connect with stories! I am also excited to introduce our young scholars to the basics of library skills. I look forward to helping these bright young minds use the truth of Christ to discern and evaluate information that comes their way.
My husband and I have three children, all attending CCA. They have been blessed with loving teachers and staff, as well as a rigorous education that has nurtured their faith in Christ.
I have been attending CCSJ for several years and serving in the Safety and Security Ministry for 2 years. I feel that the current crisis in morality and values in our nation has made it crucial to teach the next generation a true Biblical worldview as it relates to the founding of America.
I look forward to sharing some of my experiences and my love for the Lord as we explore the birth of our nation and the often overlooked details that are at the very core of what our founding fathers intended.
My wife April and I have been married nearly 30 years, we have two wonderful children Nick and Alysa who love the Lord. We are empty nesters and fill our time with our dogs and by serving at Calvary. I enjoy working out and love coaching youth sports. When at home I relax by reading.
I am so excited to be a part of Calvary Christian Academy’s mission by supporting the school in the area of finance. CCA is an amazing school and discipleship community that seeks to put God ahead of everything they do.
Previously, I worked for almost ten years for the federal government in the area of budget and finance. Now, I am blessed to hear precious children reciting verses and songs when I walk down the hallway and to work with the wonderful families here.
My husband, Yohan, and I relocated our family to the Bay area in 2018. Our two boys attend CCA and love it! We attend Revive Presbyterian, a church plant in Sunnyvale.
In my free time, I love to garden, bake, create art with my kids, and plan fun trips and outings.
CCA is an amazing place to be a part of because the heart of the school is to bring as much glory to God as possible! What an honor to pour into the lives of young men and women who will grow up to serve God in many ways. While academics and social growth are important, the main focus is the heart of the students and their relationship with the Lord. When you pair excellent academics with Biblical truth integrated into all subjects and aspects of the day, amazing things are bound to happen!
There is no greater honor than to pour into the lives of the next generation. As the days are growing more and more wicked, it is essential that these students are raised up with strong convictions, knowing what they believe and how to defend their faith. I also love the joy that children have, to share in their wonder and excitement is a blessing!
My husband and I have been married for twenty years and have four amazing and beautiful children, who not be who they are without all of the amazing men and women of CCA, pouring their love into helping to mold them into men and women of God.
I am honored and blessed by the opportunity to join CCA and to serve the school in the finance role. I love CCA’s passion to train up Christ-centered children through a discipleship approach to learning. It is such a special place.
For eleven years, I worked as a financial statement auditor, specializing in nonprofit clients. I left the world of public accounting to stay home with our three children, but I remained involved in accounting through various volunteer roles. I am excited to follow God’s leading into this new chapter!
My husband and I have been married for eighteen years. Our three children attend CCA and absolutely love it! We are so grateful and blessed by the teachers and community at CCA. In my free time, I love golfing, snow skiing with my family, photography, scrapbooking and having coffee with friends.
What I love about working in Christian education and with children is to be surrounded by a community of belivers who love the Lord and desire to help carry out God's word and truth in the lives of the children. I feel called to serve at CCA to share the love of Christ to the students and families.
I have been serving at CCA for two years. My family lives in San Diego and I love visiting them when I can, I love serving in the youth ministry and getting to know the kids. Crocheting pumpkins has been my recent hobby.
I have served here at CCA since 2015. What a privilege it is be a part of the vision Pastor McClure and his wife have received from God to raise up the next generation in the admonition of the Lord. What a blessing it is to work alongside like minded staff and families who share in this vision, all to God’s glory! I can honestly say from experience there is no school like CCA in the valley, Mat 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
I came to Christ during junior high camp at Calvary. I met my husband her at Calvary, we just celebrated our twenty fifth anniversary this year, all glory to God. Our son David is twenty three, our daughter Hannah is twenty and her husband Jarrrod, our son in law is twenty three.
I love spending time with family and friends, road trips, reading and long walks with my husband.
Growing up I played competitive softball from the age of 8-21 years old. I played two years at West Valley College and graduated with an AA in Liberal Arts. I am humbled to have the opporutnity to love the children and make an impact in their lives, because I absolutely love children! Sharing with them the love of Christ, getting to know them and praying for them. I am honored to stand beside others who want to bring up this next generation with a firm doundation in Christ. I have been married for almost 15 years! We have two precious children, Levi and Vivienne. Our family loves to travel and do just about anything outdoors. I feel very blessed to be a part of the CCA family!
I felt God calling me to serve when we had enrolled our youngest into preschool. I had been praying about how to occupy my free time that would glorify God and to be a light to my three kids and their classmates. Children are so special and important and I feel so blessed to be a part of CCA and their lives. My husband and I live in Morgan Hill. We love being together whether it's on our boat at the lake, camping, going on walks or movie nights. I'm also a big bookworm and love to read as well as crafting, baking, and sewing.
The Lord has always put a passion for children on my heart since I was young. I have worked professionally with children for over two years and have volunteered in the Church children ministry for about 6 years. I also worked with infants for over a year and I loved being able to be a part of their firsts and watch them grow into toddlerhood and onto preschool. I truly enjoy getting to teach children something new and just being caretaker to children in general.
My husband Jose and I have been married for almost 4 years, and have a son named Aadyn and a daughter named Eva. When not at school, I enjoy the outdoors, spending time with my family, and knitting.
I have been a preschool teacher for over 20 years. I have also been a supervisor. This is my first year here at Calvary. I feel so honored and blessed to have the privelege to be a part of such a wonderful school. It's so encouraging to be able to teach our children the Word and love of God. I also look forward to encourage a love for education to our children. I give God all the glory for opening this door for me to teach our children.
I live with my mom. I have one nephew and three nieces that I love very much. I love to watch movies, read books, and going for walks. I also love to listen to worship music.
I have been working with children since 2013 and since then my passion for caring and supporting them has grown. I have worked in private schools, including Montessori schools, and led many after school programs in public schools, as well as being a tutor and nanny. As a mother, my love for children and understanidng the needs of a parent, has helped me be the best example I can be, and made my faith stronger. I love working and volunteering at Calvary in the children's ministry.
I am a mother who has been a Christian my whole life. I love God and going to church with my family and when the doors are closed, we're usually outside hiking and seeing all the beuty our Lord created.
